About Us​

Jody and Susie Gardner both grew up in the area, went to school together, and have been friends since second grade.  We have one grown, married daughter, and currently one incredible wire-haired dachshund, Summer, that is our game recovery tracking dog during hunting season.  Off-season she is just a ball of energy and personality.  We welcomed our first granddaughter in the fall of 2018 and find ourselves truly blessed on every front.

Jody has been an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper since he was a boy.  We hunt much of the same ground Jody grew up hunting.  Jody is also a Charter Captain, having owned and operated Reel'm-N Charters for over ten years where he took groups out on Lake Erie for walleye and perch, and an occasional smallmouth.  He has since sold the boat and purchased a bass boat, and has returned to fishing the bass circuits.  In addition, we make a trek to Lake Okeechobee in Ohio's coldest weather to get some of those huge lunkers and platesize crappie.  Yum!

Susie is farm-girl at heart, having been raised on a beef farm in nearby Harrison County.  She works full - time as a Quality Assurance Analyst at a pet health insurance company.  In addition, is a registered Veterinary Technician in the State of Ohio. She hunts and fishes. But most importantly, she tries to keep Jody straight.  That really, is a full time job in itself.
